Science and the humanities

Alongside biology, Iskandar reads classical Azerbaijani and Eastern literature, including the works of Nizami Ganjavi and Aliağa Vahid, as well as philosophy and art. He finds that precision and aesthetic sensitivity can belong to the same mind.
